Donate to GAB

Gamers Against Bigotry is a non-profit*, 100% volunteer operation.  Donations are greatly appreciated and utilized to help pay for advertising, server costs, and merch (stickers, buttons, shirts, etc.).  All donations (every cent of every dollar) will go directly into improving the organization and spreading the word.  If you want to see this become something big, contribute.  And if you’re short on dollars, but have extra time, consider volunteering.

*Note: we are not yet a tax-deductible 501(c)(3) non-profit, but are working toward that certification

Donations of $1 are encouraged, but larger donations are welcome and appreciated!

What do we do with the money raised?

Right now, the vast majority of the money donated goes into promoting educational posts and ads to sign the pledge on Facebook.  A small portion goes to other promotional materials (e.g., buttons, stickers) that we hand out at cons and other gaming events.

Huge thanks to the following people for donating!

The Pledge:

As a gamer, I realize I contribute to an incredibly diverse social network of gamers around the world, and that my actions have the ability to impact others. In effort to make a positive impact, and to create a community that is welcoming to all, I pledge to not use bigoted language while gaming, online and otherwise.

Bigoted language includes, but is not limited to, slurs based on race? (e.g, "chink," "nigger," "wetback"), ethnicity? (e.g., "kyke," "polock"), gender? (e.g., "cunt," "bitch," "tranny"), religion? (e.g., "dirty jew," "papist"), sexual orientation? (e.g., "gay," "fag[got]," "dyke"), and disability? (e.g., "retard[ed]").
